It's hart to overemphasize importance of innovation in this competitive world,

whether it is for a firm, a public agency, a NPO, a NGO, or any other type of organization.

As a matter of fact, innovation is a must for organizational survival.

 

An organization is no less subject to a life-cycle than an organism is.

We may even regard an orgainzation as an organism.

Then, an organization will eventually "decline." if we do not innovate it.

Simply put, "Innovate or perish!"

 

One of the key concerns in managing an organization is to promote innovation in it.
