According to UNCTAD (World Investment Report 2008),
FDI into Korea was merely 2.6 billion dollars in 2007.
1) The figure keeps decreasing since 2004 with 9.0 B.
2) The 2007 figure cannot compare with 83.5 B into China or 24.1 B into Singapore
Reasons for this poor performance are so well known as not to be worth repeating.
